I have a 4GEE MiFi device included with Smart WiFi. I use the MiFi out of the house with an old phone and I am trying to see how much of the included 2GB of data has been used. When I login to my account, I can see the home broadband usage in detail but I can't find any details of the MiFi device. I've checked my broadband plan and the MiFi is listed as one of the devices so my account knows I've got it but won't tell me more than that.

In order to see details of your mobile router in your MyEE a/c you will need to add its mobile no. to it as a mobile device.
Alternatively you can look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status.

The Status suggestion worked, thanks. Adding it to my account can't be done because EE send a text to the number to confirm it, at least I know the number now from the Status page (it's not included with the MiFi device which comes ready to use).

Your mobile router is quite capable of doing texts. Login to it & look at the SMS tab.
Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.

Thanks.
I'm sure it is capable of texts but EE only provide the MiFi WiFi password when it's included with Smart WiFi. Documentation is minimal at best, not even the phone number is included.

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the password found under the battery cover.
