I wanted to look at adding a 2nd phone to my account, but computer says no. Just wondered why this is, I don't really want to go into the shop just to browse models and prices

Could be one of a few reason, payment history, credit history or general eligibility. There is no account access on these forums so you would need to speak to EE CS direct for more information.
