Hi all.
Had a notification on my EE app that I could upgrade now and pay no upgrade fee.
When I go to the upgrades page it still saying I need to pay the £196 early upgrade fee.
Anybody know why this is ? It doesn't really give me much information .
Thanks

But that’s not an offer. That’s available to everyone. Poor choice of words. A trade in isn’t 100% off.
Thanks for clarifying this Chris.

Funny thing is I get both offers , it still tells me I have to pay the upgrade fee even with the trade in.
I spoke to an advisor who wasn't any help at all , he wouldn't listen to any reason whatsoever.

Told me one offer will cancel out the other and then they'll cancel if you're able to check out.
Have this issue myself, and they're not willing to help.

It’s all a con I’ve just phoned them up you have to trade in your iPhone only certain models apply
then they get no discount the discount you had previously don’t get carried over untill your close to the end of your contract uuummm
im paying my early contract fee off by using my phone as trade in so don’t I then get a new contract
as just stated by the upgrade team I’ll have to wait until contract ends to get a better deal

I'm the same - investigating today. Just leaving instead when the time comes. The plans are super expensive compared to others, and I have no respect for a company that has the audacity to run a con like that.
If I'd not investigated, I might have ended up £500 out of pocket just for not paying 100% attention. Shameful.
Had the same number since 2004 with T-Mobile/EE and there is no loyalty "reward".
Not only that - it takes ages just to view what's available to upgrade on that line because I have a second line that's been running 10 months and it always insists I'm upgrading that one instead of the one that's actually eligible - or not actually eligible as I've found out, just eligible for the "reward".

This is probably one of the most mid-leading deals I have ever seen. Can't find any phone or package that gives me this offer, cant even find the T&C's. Agents on the phone are of little assistance.
Will be getting in touch with the trading ombudsman over this and suggest everyone else does the same.

Me too really misleading and frustrating to get sent an offer when you lpg in only to not be able to get it.
