Apple Watch Series 6

I’m looking at buying a series 6 Apple Watch outright. I already have an unlimited data sim only contract. How do I get the Apple Watch to pair with my current contract?

Are there any additional costs involved?

If you are wanting to buy the Apple Watch outright, I would advise purchasing direct from Apple, as you have more case and strap options to choose from.

The only time you need to have a data plan for the Apple Watch, is if you are planning to use your Apple Watch when you won't have your iPhone with you.

If you always plan on having your iPhone with you, then there is no need to purchase a separate data plan for the Apple Watch.

If you would be wanting to use your Apple Watch when you wouldn't have your iPhone with you, then you need to purchase the data add on plan specifically for the Apple Watch. The data add on plan for the Apple Watch is around £7 per month (not sure if the free trial is still running), and gets you 10GB of data.
