I reset my old i phone to factory setting and have given to my brother.

He cannot access it and says he needs a code ?

Is this correct and if so where do I get the required code.

Hi @MattK24 

Try restoring the iPhone by connecting it on iTunes that should remove any code.

Did you disconnect the phone from iCloud before restarting.

@MattK24  Did you remove the device from your apple account?  Restoring an iPhone doesn’t do that it’s still registered to you.     THIS  will explain how to do just that.
