Hi, i upgraded my iphone less than a week ago to an iphone 16 from EE, it arrived, i set it up and all was well, then an hour ago i went to get my phone which i had charging, and noticed it wouldn't switch on, i tried resetting it by pressing volume up, volume down etc and then pressing the power button, i have tried many many times but it just won't switch on, for personal reasons i don't go out and i depend on my phone, also i need it for verification purposes, my first large bill is due today too and i can't use my new phone, please help me, regards anna-maria

@imoneofakind when you do the volume volume down and then press the side button are you continually holding the side button as you have to do this. It’s not just a press and let go.

Hi, yes i do keep it pressed for different amounts of time, say 15 seconds, 30 seconds, a few minutes, it just won't switch on, i have been trying since last night. I cannot call EE because my phone won't switch on, i have tried messaging them but its just automatic responses and i'm getting nowhere.

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your new phone.
Do you still have your previous phone with you to pop the SIM in and give us a call on 150? Or even if you just have a Wi-Fi connection on the old phone or via another device, you can give us a call via Skype free on +44 800 9566000.
Then one of our guides will be able to run some checks and help arrange an exchange if the phone is faulty.
