Hi, I use microsoft365 on my iMac, without problems until recently.
I used to be with BT and have since migrated to EE. I have lost my btopenworld email password. I have looked everywhere I can think of but unable to find. I can't even find how to reset it.
I was OK, limping along until today when I also lost my gmail email account within Microsoft 365. I know my Gmail account still works as it is on my iPhone. I tried to switch from legacy to the new Microsoft 365 email service & it was ate this time I also lost my openworld account too.
I am now unable to access any email via my iMac, only gmail from my iPhone.
can anyone help please?

Thank you. in the end the change of BT password also updated the Openworld password too. Schoolgirl error on my part somewhere along the line probably. Anyway, Openworld email works again.
Strangely my Gmail worked again within Microsoft the very next day. I am wondering if something was stuck in their system.
All good now & thank you helping.

Not much we can do in remembering your BT email pwd. It has a Forgot log-in details? link you can use.
Similarly with GMail.

Thank you
I managed to log into my old MyBT account & have changed the BT password in there. I didn't expect that account to be live still.
I am about to try to log into BTopenworld within Microsoft. looks like I can receive again but not send.
I shall keep at it but I appear to have fixed one of the problems. I suspect I need to speak to Microsoft 365
thank you anyway

What have you put as the Outgoing Server settings (all of them) in your Mail app, obscuring your name?
