Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.65000 views thank you for your support and love.

Well my bad for not knowing better but apparently the UK only received the sim slot variant of the phone that has the smaller battery.

CS wasn't even aware that a (slightly) higher capacity version with no physical sim tray existed and though esim in this context only ever thought it was normal sim capable phone using the esim incidentally,

It is a thing, google it, the 17 Pro's esim only hardware equiv battery is about 20% larger than non-esim, the 17 pro max gains about 8% - that can still equate to over an hours additional worth of usage or more depending on what you're doing.

TIL that this wasn't actually an option made to certain countries, Apple enforced esim in some markets and the sim variant of the phone in others. If you're in the US or Canada and a couple others, you can only get the slightly better esim variant of the hardware.

Because my original order duplicated they were only supposed to cancel one but cancelled both. I’ve been told my order is now open sales & is due within 14 days. After being told Friday there’s no backlog. I’m tempted to order elsewhere too it’s so annoying

I had the same on my actual phone order, but they cancelled my original order and replaced (17th original order was 14th) so I was back of queued. I understand the frustration too.

Mine is still in the same stage. Preordered as soon as they opened on the Friday. EE didn’t process it til the Sunday. I’ve been told 3 different things now about delivery.

Walked into my local EE store still same they’re unsure when apple will deliver. I think i might be considering android!

I know that, but I was surprised they told you you could choose in the UK. 😅
