I’ve seen people order Blue or Orange after I ordered my Silver and they’ve got theirs. It’s just annoying even though I ordered the silver and I understand there is a higher demand for the silver. Patience just isn’t my strong suit.

It’s a nightmare. I’m 28 days on Thursday and they said could be another 1-3 weeks because stock doesn’t always come in weekly

My ideal scenario would be a ‘no preference’ option for colour. Apple seems to send batches by colour (assumption), so it would have been beneficial for people like me who slap a case on with no real way of telling what colour we have to not have to rely on what colours are coming in any given day or week.

with that said, it is what it is, im patient to hold on longer. Got a busy week at the sumo event this week anyway!

I always put a clear case on or clear with some glitter so last year with a 16 all the colour options were nice but this year I only like the Silver. I was even wondering whether to just upgrade my 14PM to a 16 instead of the 17.

Im fairly certain you can pop into a store tomorrow and walk out with any 16 variant.

in common use, the difference between the 16 and 17 is somewhat negligent. I personally want the 17PM for its camera as im going to South Korea as a work trip in February, and Japan as a personal holiday later in the year and want to take the most beautiful photos im capable of, but the 16 should tick virtually every other box

as a counterpoint though, in a month from now the wait youve had to go through for the 17 will be all forgotten, youll have your new phone for at least a year. All it takes is patience. Im super excited to get something new and shiny, but the effect it has on my day right now using my 14PM right now is almost zero (bar the battery life)

I’ll carry on waiting for my 17PM 100% it’s just I’ve never been a patient person. I’m hopefully going away next year a couple of times too so waiting for the 17 will be worth it. I’ll get it eventually.

You just gotta be real with yourself - what exactly cant you do right now, tomorrow, this weekend without that phone?

It’s probably impatience through principle - the wait in todays Amazon-Prime-next-day-delivery lifestyle we’ve become so used to makes a 28 day wait feel alien. 

It will be worth the wait. Try to turn your patience into excitement.

Right, so I ordered my 17 pro max 256gb in cosmic orange on 21st September and it’s coming tomorrow 15th October if that helps anyone out time wise
