It will come, but unfortunately you ordered considerably later than those getting their texts today. 

for scope, I ordered a full week before you and haven’t had my text. I’m sure it’ll come soon, but I’m afraid you’re a lot further back in the queue than most (as am I)

I completely get that as I’ve stated in posts way before. I just think it’s a really poor launch from both Apple and EE. Apple in terms of order numbers and devices. EE just because of the poor communication. The EE website has changed for the Silver 256 PM though for anyone ordering now from more than 28 days to within 28 days. 28 days for me is a week on Thursday. So hoping around then.

I see EE as the problem. They outsource customer service to countries nowhere near us, who seem to have no clue as to what they’re even doing.

Apple at least have stock in their stores. They have god knows how many service providers being allocated stock, but it makes complete sense that they make sure their own shelves are filled as a priority.
