Hi I placed the order on Tuesday evening for the new iPhone 17 pro Max. I received the confirmation email and a message on Wednesday to say that it was on its way however I haven’t heard anything since and when I go to track it just has awaiting confirmation. I’ve received the returns pack today in the post. Do you know if there’s a massive delay and why there has been no update in communication form to customers?

If the team in the EE store has advised that your new iPhone will be ready for collection within 28 days, there is no way for anyone to speed this up, I'm afraid. 

Once stock has been assigned to your order, you'll receive further updates. If you have any concerns, I'd advise contacting the store you've ordered from.

I’ve ordered the same as you and on the same day I’m also still waiting for dispatch. When I spoke to them one of the EE guides said it would be this week or next week but anything they say I take with a pinch of salt. Hoping we do get our phones next week though!

I ordered the same colour and size on the 20/9. Only had an order acknowledges email the same day and nothing since. Im a little suspicious as mine is a sim free order they’ll only dispatch mine ones the contract orders are finished

I got too impatient and ended up ordering from apple this morning with pick up this evening for a 256GB Cosmic Orange pro max. 
Now to cancel my EE order 🤣

After reading this I've done the same. Pick up from apple store tomorrow. Cancelling with EE seemed painless, can confirmation through already and upfront costs should be refunded in 14 days

I can’t believe how poor the communication has been from EE, to be honest. I had to chase them for an order number, which isnt live and complete unknown about when my device will be available.

ill sell my 16 pro max now, use that to pay off my current contract and just go the sim only route

I’ve done the same. How does my closest Apple Store have the phone in stock for the 17PM 256GB deep blue available to pick up today but EE been making me wait 3 weeks and still no clue for when it’s coming. I’m also saving money buying directly from Apple so win win for me 😂

Because Apple prioritises their stores and always have.  Try ordering for home delivery from Apple.. ships in 3-4 weeks for most 17Pros.
