Thought as much, I'll wait until the end of the week and if no updates I'll cancel and wait for Apple to release more stock, probably look at switching back to o2 too, had nothing but issues with EE for the last few years. At least my broadband is cheaper now! Silver lining.

I was checking out the O2 and Vodafone threads on Reddit, and there were delays with the new iPhones too. However, the problem with EE is their lack of communication with customers who were promised devices on launch day.

Update *there is more stock at Apple*: Hi everyone. So I have just collected my 17PM 512gb (blue) from the Apple Store, Bluewater after cancelling my order from EE due to their abysmal “longer than 28 days” wait.  I saw the orange and I’m glad I ended up with blue, as the orange is very bright and it gives me a similar distracting border feeling like the iPhone 5c when looking directly at the screen. But, the reason for this update is because when I was thinking of changing it to orange, I asked the gentleman if I can do so and he scanned my ticket saw my specs and said “well, we have just had some MORE STOCK COME IN, so if you want to, ask my colleague at the centre of the store to see if we can do it for you”. So guys, maybe checkout Apple Store, Bluewater if you live close to it. Make sure you don’t cancel your EE order first just in case Apple doesn’t have the phone you want. Good luck everyone.

Yeah EE was atrocious. I got my series 11 watch from Very, and the AirPod Pro 3 from Argos. Both arrived on 19th and 20th September. Apple might have some stock as I’ve just left there Bluewater branch and was told they had new deliveries of stuff, not sure if it was only phones though.

I think the scumbags on Facebook marketplace aren't helping. They pre order 5/6 phones in different colours then try to sell them to people who have no patience for extra £200-300 really grinds my gears. There's a guy selling two and has a receipt from the apple store and says literally no offers no best price, if no one buys them I will return them to the apple store for a full refund. Like why? People have to wait longer because of idiots like this.

I pre-ordered the orange pro max on the 12th at 2PM and EE have told me today to wait 28 days from the 12th which would be October 10th.

I'm now not sure whether to cancel it from EE and pre-order from Apple instead, who are expecting delivery between October 14th - 21th which is later than EE but seems to be more of a guaranteed timeframe.
