Every year, EE’s service gets worse. I ordered my phone on a Friday, and the website kept glitching with a 404 error. I had to go through chat, which took over three hours (5/6 hours total). All I got was a message from customer service saying it had been ordered, but I haven’t received an order confirmation or any status updates. I can’t even see any proof that it’s been ordered on the account, so I just have to hope it magically shows up without any insight into the order details. When I rang EE, they said they could see it in the system but couldn’t resend the order confirmation or provide any other updates. They did say it was supposed to arrive tomorrow, but after reading these comments, I doubt I’ll get it for at least the next month.

Crap isn’t it, I got this just now from a guide: 

Thu, 18 Sep 2025 15:01:28) EE : Thank you for your patience, I have checked with the dedicated team and your order has been processed. I have marked your order as Priority, Your order would be dispatched by tommorow as delivery will be started by tommorow, and You will get the tracking details by tommorow. You would be able to track the order by dpd.co.uk

That's amazing CS! I need to arrange for someone to receive the parcel and give them the PIN. I will be at work, it's a work day! 'You will find out on release day' is not good enough!

I was thinking the same, but because I had a bad experience two years ago… I was told to wait for DPD, and on launch day they weren’t able to deliver my new iPhone at all. After work I just popped into the EE store, and to my surprise, they already had my iPhone there. No notifications from DPD, no SMS, nothing.
