Just had the awaited DPD text 2 minutes ago. Looks like I’m getting the S11 Apple Watch with Sports Band on release day. Just for reference for others, I pre ordered on the 13th

I just spoke to EE CS regarding the same query and they told me. If the website told you expect delivery on launch date than you will get it. because when I place the order on 12th I only received XBO order number and I found it to be unusual. So I contacted the CS next day and told me not to worry about this. But the order confirmation with tracking details came in on 15th so I called them to double check regarding the Delivery date.
