iPhone 16 & 16 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Oh I raised a complaint alright.   Received a text saying the complaint had been opened at 1:35pm and another at 1:36pm saying it had been closed.   Apparently a manager will call me at some point before 8pm today.

So I pre ordered my 16 Pro Max Black 256 today. 

Spoke to one advisor who said no traditional upgrade anytime.. ended the call and then decided to try again due to reading this forum.. he gave me the traditional full works upgrade anytime contract with no flex pay.. did say it went up due to cost of iPhone 16 Pro Max’ this year but I thought they cost the same?? 

oh and I got told I’d get it on release day which was a surprise

Same boat as you buddy, ordered Friday got my confirmation and 00 number but yeah still says same as you, as Mister Zen said, reckon it will be mid next week when they’re ready for dispatch we’ll get notifications.

I pre ordered the same as you black and 256GB and done mine on 13th sadly they ran out off stock and been told have to wait 3 weeks. Same might happen to you!

I really hope you do and the advisor wasn’t spinning you a line like they did last year. 2023, I ordered a NT 256 PM on Saturday morning, the day after the pre-orders confirmation of the order received at 8:30am.  I was told it would come launch day. I actually got it 4 weeks later! 

Fingers crossed their allocation for release day is bigger than last year. Apple website today showed delivery for the 256gb Black PM 9th, 16th October - if ordering today! 

This week we should hopefully see some movement.

Is it worth adding another column in the spreadsheet such as update? Or expected delivery date?

I dont think there is. Based on last year, most of the expected dates we were initially told were inccurate! I think once the first group of people get delivery notifications and take delivery, it will be better to gauge more accurate delivery schedules from the current info on the spreadsheet. 

Would help more if everyone (if they choose to) adds their details. It doesn’t ask for the entire order number, just the first 8 digits and then automatically places them in order. Worked like a dream last year when the first batch of people started to get impending delivery notifications.

just wanted to confirm if anyone knows what EE will charge if they do not return the previous handset on anytime upgrade .

I forgot to confirm with CS when I preordered .

ii have a IPhone 15 PM 512GB .

Dod anyone ask ?

They did last year I assume they will this year! You’ll know when you get your new phones they’ll email you about the return and the charge if you don’t return it. The amount will be based on the storage. When I didn’t return my 512gb PM last year they billed me around £650 for it!
