Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Hey!

I have pre-ordered the iPhone 16 Pro Max yesterday and received an email confirmation from EE but my order number is different from everyone in the spreadsheet. My order number starts with 3 letters followed by 9 numbers. Can anyone advise?

Yeah I’ve got a 00 number now, I ordered online and got the xko but then got an email saying I had to call to complete my order. After the call I got an email with a 00 order number

We Go Again. Thanks Equil for setting up another thread this year! Managed to get through on Friday 12:50, so was on a call to an advise at 1pm when pre-orders started. Took over 90 mins due to system issues but finally got my order in early on pre-order day. The advisor before getting off the call said because of the issues they were having the lines are now backed up with nearly 2k people waiting in queue on the phone to get through! Sounds like it’s gonna be another tough launch similar to last year. Fingers crossed thou the pre-order numbers are better from Apple enabling people to get their devices quicker.

Hey, I got the same thing, called them yesterday and it was to go over the new flex contract details. They sent a link for the video I had to watch then they go over everything again and confirm exactly what you’ve ordered, 00 order number was then sent my email after.

Well done. Getting non early this year hopefully will make a huge difference! I went for a change this year. As I pre-order the Satin Black AWU2 I’ve gone with the black titanium pro max this year. Recently bought the space black AirPod Max so everything is now matchy ,matchy. Lol. Fingers crossed for release day deliveries or at lease a delivery in September! They also wanted to charge me £100 for the upgrade but after I reminded them of last year miss-selling by their collegues around delivery times, they waivered it aswell. 

Can’t reach them at the moment due to high volume of calls HAHA. Do I need to ring them even though I haven’t received an email saying to complete my order on the phone? I had the zero upfront cost. Any answers would be appreciated.

The xko order numbers are the online order numbers, if you ordered over the phone you get a 00 number, that’s all the difference is.

the XKO numbers need to be processed by the online team so if it doesnt track then it hasnt been processed.

 

exact thing happened to me even though i submitted 13:08 yesterday and got confirmation email - i had to reorder on the phone today and got a 00 and was moved to the back of the queue (21 days wait now)

 

unless i've been had by the sales people (2 different ones confirmed this)
