Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

I've been a lurker for a few years here now but, I find it great for updates so I keep coming back.
Until now, I've been ok with pre-orders, even though the tracking is poor. This year, I've finally been burned.
I ordered a 16PM 1TB BT and received an email on the 13th at 14:32 after initially having issues with F&F and the early upgrade fee on the first call and calling back.
I've sat patiently, thinking all was well as the usual subtle signs were there in my account, even though tracking never changes for me.
I decided to call in because I've had no DPD updates (except for an order direct with Apple so I knew that was working) and I was getting concerned. The result was, "apologies, phone not picked, we don't know how this has happened, here's £20 on your bill, and be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks for your device." Slightly annoying but, not her fault and it's not like I can do anything about it so I left it there.
After years of trying to avoid calling because I know they're busy enough, I will now revert to old me who will check several times after pre-order as I could have potentially resolved this sooner.
I guess, the only positives are that I get to wait in anticipation longer (which deep down is exciting) and even though I love new devices, I'm often over it quite quickly so I get to delay the UX excitement too.
I will try to update when it actually comes.

Hi iv just received my iPhone 16 pro max and when u press the side button or volume up and down it shows like a black wave if you wanna call it that he’s anyone else had this ?

For anyone baffled why they have received a screen protector and case even without insurance, they come as standard with the new full works plans and I’m pretty sure the all rounder ones too. It’s in the new terms of the plan

If EE has changed your number on the DPD order when they attempt delivery again you’ll get the pin that way

Exactly the same has happened to me. It seems a few others have received theirs, though.
My first time preordering too 😔
