Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.
You can find a general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Orders/Iphone-16-pro-16-pro-max-pre-order-thread-that-time-of-the-year...
Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

I had an £100 early upgrade fee, it was waived by a manager. However, had some other issues with a trade-in that I moaned about so think that is why they did it.

What a nightmare this was last year, but this page for the iPhone 15s was so helpful! I think I waited around 6 weeks last year, so tried to be the first in there this time! Got through at around 1:15 pm and received a confirmation email at 1:55 pm. I went with the natural titanium, so fingers crossed that I get it on Friday!

This is not true, as a flex plan if a different type of credit agreement because it’s basically a loan on the phone. And then a standard contract agreement for the sim. (I use to work for o2) EE is clearly pushing people to do this as when my friend was upgrading in store they strongly advised he do the flex one. My friend said no and they did. The standard upgrade anytime contact on a 24m basis with upgrade after 12.
I have also upgraded mine and my partners phone over the phone. Fee waived after explaining what happened last year and he asked if I wanted to go onto a flex plan and I said no for both phones.
he stated 2 contracts. 24m upgrade anytime plans. They still have to offer you this as standard. Just like o2 still have basic contracts. They just don’t sell them as main stream anymore.
flex contracts are okay, but EE have control over trade in value every year. So if you want to upgrade anytime. Your trade in value has to be that or more that what you owe back in the phone. Which wouldn’t then not always be the case and you still have to pay to upgrade.
so yes. Anytime upgrade does still exist. 3 phones have been done on it this year. All without issue

Anyone have DS number ? Making me stress now that my order is sat in limbo . As I say can track it online but says delivered but I’ve not had a 04 number just the xko .
no email asking me to call and my ability to upgrade online has gone .
stressed is an understatement as I left EE after the 14PM Issues and came back as where I moved to only EE Gets signal.

Confident my order has gone through ok. I have a 00 number showing as trackable and when i try to re-order online it now blocks the upgrade with 'N/A'

Well they messed up my entire order 🥲 so had to be canceled & reordered today.
They gave me the wrong watch plan & told me 1 price for my phone but the confirmation had £50 a month more. 2 hours dealing with their mess & still going!
