Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

I would call them because I ordered some new AirPods which said instock, I had a confirmation email, but when I rang to check there was no order 👀

Well… looks like it happened to me too, **bleep**.

Getting error “Sorry, we can't show your order details right now”. Pre ordered at 13:09 Friday 13th. Got order number and confirmation email.

I spoke to ee TWICE who said my order was successful and “don’t worry” and that I should receive my tracking details soon.

1 week later I got in touch again. 3rd person tells me my pre order didn’t go through.

Had to re-order again today and said it will be any time around 8th October.

Not happy.

Crazy how many people this happened too, can understand it was bust but to have a order number and confirmation email, then to be told by two people it was there and it wasn't is just beyond stupid.

Make us all worry untill it is on the way

Any updates on the iPhone 16 pro max as only got the delivery confirmation and nothing else just wondering if anyone has received an update on there order

Oliver that’s nonsense utter nonsense, OP contact EE demand a SaR and remind them they have to include the call recordings 😂 you’ll be wasting your time and breath no business will hand out call recordings to a customer through a SaR your looking at lawyers who need this type of communication.

unless you do some kind of texting to EE customer service then in theory they could provide you the transcript with the information on that but not VOICE COMMUNICATIONS 

someone if EE support read this really need to tell Oliver991 he’s given out out false hope to people and that is not fair on OP 

Wow it’s difficult enough for frustrated customers let alone be told they can voice recordings on a SaR, the only thing true about Oliver’s statement is yes it’ll be pointless, Call EE open a complaint and they will tell you what your legally entitled to and perhaps offer a solution

off to phone every company I’ve had a complaint with to demand voice recordings by asking for a SaR

Ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max 1tb sand titanium on 13th paid £500 upfront & was told it should be shipped 20th. Rang customer services 20th and was told it was told it would likley be upto 14 days, but he hopes next week.

Rang again today & was told it could be upto 28 days, because I have ordered a wanted colour & model. Did state to person when ordering I didnt care about colour (etc).

My brother is on 3 and had his monday.

 

@October88 I haven’t read the context but for clarification and From a legal perspective when a financial contract is involved which it is via the FCA, all calls are recorded, a Subject Access Request will provide the customer a copy of all notes and recordings of any calls held by the company. This includes the entire two way call. This is a legal requirement, as a call contains personal information and falls under the statute. EE can refuse to comply, but can be compelled by Ofcom subject to the complaint. All calls fall under GDPR.

What information can be requested?

The following information can be requested:

  • personal account information (such as any contact information that we hold on file; email adresses, mobile numbers, postal address)
  • notes from the account
  • call recording details for the last 90 days (subject to availability)
  • copies of contract information and payment information correspondence 
  • call logs for the last six months (in some instances we may be able to provice call logs for the last 12 months)

Still no update still not dispatched.

 

mine said delivery 4-8th but live support told me yesterday it’ll be dispatched within 24 hours.

I ordered the iPhone 16 pro max on Saturday 21st September, The EE adviser said it would be delivered on Monday which I thought was brilliant, but….Monday came and went with no DPD text, or update on the EE tracking it just remained as order confirmed. So.,, my question is also WHEN can i expect to receive this iPhone 16 pro max, I feel a little like a kid at  Christmas😂
