Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

You can find a general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Orders/Iphone-16-pro-16-pro-max-pre-order-thread-that-time-of-the-year...

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

This will be incorrect, they read the estimated delivery dates from the current date, rather than the date you ordered. It'll likely be less than 14 days if you ordered on Pre-order.

Yeah I wouldn't take their word for it as they can only see what the current wait time, as in if you ordered today. Sad thing is I think they are as clueless as us about it, if anything less as they dont see the tracking we have with the estimated dates.

So if you have a tracking with a date I would just wait for that as with any hope it accurate, if there is no date on there yet it would probably mean you are further back tbh and they haven't gone one for you yet.

First time I’ve ordered a handset through EE as I’ve been sim only for years and always bought through Apple directly. The reason I went through EE is because they were showing stock when I ordered on Saturday (21st) when Apple was showing estimated availability 15-22/10. With that in mind I would bet that we won’t be seeing our new phones until around the date Apple Store is quoting. Apologies if that’s ruined anyone’s day!

If you have just ordered then yeah I imagine it would be that date as that is what EE are saying for new orders, but It won't be that long if you ordered a week to 10 days ago as you'll be at the top of the list to get the next lot that EE get into stock.

They need to clear those before any newer orders, so why the longer delivery time.

If you ordered on the 21st you more than likely will be waiting till the 15th.  Those that have ordered earlier than that particularly the 13/14/15th should see their product this week with a bit of luck.

This time last week the Apple website was showing late September/early October for most models

Have you tried entering your order number on here?

Yes this is what I get

Sorry, you can't track this order type just yet.

At this time, we can only provide tracking for orders with a pay monthly device. Items ordered with our superfast delivery service and some orders with multiple items also can't be tracked.

If you've ordered a pay as you go handset or device, or an EE SIM Only, your order should arrive within 48 Hrs. Keep an eye out for SMS or email updates from EE.

For the latest news on EE device launches, pop by the EE Community.
