After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

EE Order Confirmation means nothing! I found out this morning that my pre-order on the 13th never actually went through, even though I got an order confirmation email and order number! So, if you have placed an order with them, I seriously would contact them to confirm, that they actually put it through. What a joke. Terrible service 👎🏽

EE knew what stock they had access to on the 13th, they 100% knew what stock was shipped to them on the 17th, to tell customers they don’t have the stock come to them directly is false. To blame DPD is false. DPD collect the orders from EE warehouse’s. As for the first come first serve, that is absolute rubbish, people who ordered the same device colour and spec 5 hours later than I did received theirs yesterday.
It comes down to poor communication and being fed lie after lie after lie, in the end it’s not about a phone it’s about being lied to, misled and misinformed. I changed the memory because on the 13th I was told that memory stock was low, I was also told by someone who has worked their for 20years that EE gets a notification internally when they can no longer guarantee the 20th, yet people who ordered after me still received their devices. They also upweight new customers over existing, but to say it’s not on EE and it’s on Apple is just not true. Apple provides all carriers with confirmed stock levels that will be shipped and EE knows what will be received. Yes people are frustrated, but I think it’s the lies and being mis-sold that annoys more than anything. As someone who is a big Apple user all EE did over the last 7 days was make me realise that I am paying a 200% premium vs purchasing the device outright and that would have been fine, if their brand reflected the values of honesty and now cowboy / cowgirl trader call centre operations where people make it up as they go along. As for saying it’s the BT team over EE I’m looking forward to releasing recordings of calls with EE employees, as I clarified that question and I was shocked at the systemic failures displayed, their own managers shared how there are systemic failures every year. Sometimes being a mystery shopper is better, because you see the culture values and crap that they make up. If they had said we made mistakes it’s human, but to consistently lie is something else and blaming Apple, when demand for pro versions is down YoY is rubbish. EE assign the devices from their warehouse otherwise DPD would show them picking up from Apple.

I ordered on the 15th and today been told 7-8 working days on the chat. But tbh that doesn’t mean anything anymore does it

I just spoke to the EE Customer Care team, and they mentioned that even if you have preordered, the wait time is 28 days. The counting of days will start from the 20th. Additionally, Apple Stores also don't have stock of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

I had an email this morning to say they’re processing my order for a pro max, but not due for delivery until 27th-1st October 😬 still a bit of waiting but at least it’s coming I suppose

Hi guys I ordered my 16pro max on the 13th, I have had to re order today as it didn’t come up with any order relating to my account. I also had no way of tracking and had an error message pop up every time I tried to check tracking status.
i would suggest that anyone who ordered on the 13th to get in contact with EE to see if they even have an order pending as there is a 21-28 day wait after placing order from today.

So I spoken to EE complaints team today after they **bleep**ed up my pre order that was never processed. They given me £30 off my next bill even though they kept messing up and even the agent I had to reorder with on the 19th lied to me about delivery.
i asked this lady about the delivery of the 13PM as my tracking updated today between the 4th and the 8th but she told me on the phone 28 days. She told me it can take up to 28 days and hope for the best between the 4th and the 8th but they can’t guarantee it will come between them days as their wait time is 28 days…..it’s like they updated the tracking to shut us all up ….

Iv just rang EE even though I got a confirmation email the order did not get through to them now re ordered 7 plus day wait 😭

I pre ordered the pro max literally as soon as pre order went live with EE.
Then last Sunday I had a message from EE saying they needed more info to progress my order, so after waiting an hour on hold to get through to them they said they had issues with their computers, went through all the bits and pieces and was told that was fine, my order is all good and it would be delivered on the 20th.
I had my confirmation email and so I think everything is all good.
By Friday afternoon there's still no sign of a delivery man or any communication from EE so I call them up to be told my order is confirmed but could take 3 or 4 weeks!? Why on earth was I told initially it would be delivered yesterday then? What was the point of me taking time off of work to sit around waiting for a delivery that was never going to happen?
I'm feeling massively let down by EE because it seems nobody can give any answers, there seems to be so much faff chasing them up for information about what's going on and I've been told conflicting information.
Surely EE knows how much stock it would receive in advance? Why these issues?
