Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Yep ee changed the number with DPD. I rang DPD to check it had changed they said apparently the driver can resend the pin at the door with the number being correct

That’s a bit false, I have 2 Pro Max 1TB in WT currently being delivered today between 1-2pm whoever’s feeding you that information is wrong, also please note BT customer agents who now work with EE are utter and I mean utterly clueless they follow scripts and whatever they can’t answer they guess so remember all iPhone 16s including both Pro models are released today not separately

Did the USB C to USB C transfer from 15 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max, less than 5 minutes. Good experience.

As you’ve upgraded it’s considered effective so you shouldn’t be charged, CS have credited my account as I was 7 days out of contract until i upgraded which they have explicitly stated they will not charge the out of contract plan amount it’ll be the new plan with the 20% NHS discount perk codes added from the date I phoned up

There is no way a driver can send you the PIN If it's been sent to the wrong number the only way to get it updated is to contact EE for them to update DPD.

I preordered the iPhone 16 on the 13th - I was insured that it would be delivered on launch date.
I’m yet to receive any information regarding the device being dispatched and definitely looking like it won’t be today either.
it’s still stuck on awaiting dispatch.
I’ve tried to speak to the team on 150 but no one seems to know what’s going on,
anyone else having the same issues?

Seems people are blaming EE for the stock issue, it literally comes in from Ireland to DPD to a secure facility, I believe Apple produce the colours on a basis of what was sold last year so if black was least popular they would withhold black pending sales, same goes for other colours, it’s a huge huge logistical challenge for Apple and networks these last few weeks, the chips the iPhone run off are not in a unlimited supply they use as of when they have orders and predicted sales, Gold used to be on the XS max but i believe it’s not as popular as apple had hoped, I reckon white will come out on top this year, but phoning CS agents could help as sometimes there’s system glitches and nothing shows up, EE can see more than what we can, even ask for the consignment number, it’s unfortunate people are not receiving their shiny new phones today I do advise phone EE if you ordered and confirmed before 2PM on the 13th indeed you should complain and ask why, I also don’t think it’s a case of EE giving customers with the more devices and costly price plans the bump up the ladder, it’s literally a first come first serve basis, I also strongly advise asking to speak to an agent who has not come from BT as they are utterly turning up the panic by giving false, misinformation and lead times EE agents are the best they have dealt with this before not BT agents who came and joined them when they merged

I received an email on Tuesday to say my phone had been dispatched.
But currently I have still not been given a tracking number, and looking on MyEE is not giving me any tracking information, just says dispatched.
Anyone else got the same, or know if its likely delivery will be made today or not?
