Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.
You can find a general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Orders/Iphone-16-pro-16-pro-max-pre-order-thread-that-time-of-the-year...
Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Yeah it's a upgrade from my series 8.

Fair enough, also they say no-interest for the flex pay but really they charge more for the phone, so it basically is interest. In total it’ll be £1083 I’m paying for the phone instead of £999

Just got an email from EE telling me my order has been dispatched. Like I haven't been checking since 6am!!

Yeah I got an email about an hour ago stating, “Your order is making its way to you now.”
hours after the DPD text

The watch plan that’s included is for when you own a 4g Apple Watch already without a data plan. When you set this up, a new data plan is activated and as long as it’s paired to the number with the new iPhone plan. They will discount the other data plan to zero. So basically it is only useful if you have a rolling 30 data plan for watch

Your new device won’t show until you have placed a SIM card in it. The way the we app works is it shows the type of device that is using the sim. Not the device that came with the contract. This will be different for flexi plans though, as they will show the credit plan for the device side

I've literally just been wondering about this.
I currently pay an additional £7 a month for my Watch data plan and have done for years, It shows as a separate number in my EE app. But with these new Full Works plans now including the data, am I able to just cancel that separate plan and save myself the additional £7 a month?
Or are you saying just leave it as is and EE will just slash the cost of that £7 to £0 on my next bill/first bill of new contract?

Double check on the specifics. But I would assume in an ideal world, EE systems would pick up the fact that you two numbers are linked and that one is a rolling data plan and just discount it. But as it is a new feature, this might not be the case and you would have to cancel and reset back up. In either situation, you would still have a separate number showing for the watch for billing reasons even though the price will be reduced to zero. Again in an ideal world they would link the two together by the IMEI for example and avoid having a separate number. But that’s not how they link them. It’s by phone number, this is partly due to the relay service that is needed to ensure normal sms are sent to the watch. And also the reason why you wouldn’t get a normal sms on the watch if the phone is switched off because the phone receives the message and then relays it to the watch number.

So my paired plan had shipping information sent to the number associated with the watch obviously unable to receive texts. I had to get in touch with EE to change my number so I could get the pin

For god sake 🙄😂 I'm calling them now to see if I need to do the same. I wish they'd make these things clear from the start, it's so bloody annoying 🥲
