iPhone 16 & 16 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Was told today on the phone my order was picked, so hopefully will see something tonight or tomorrow

Same here, called up since I had no actual tracking or anything and was getting worried.

Lady on the phone at CS told me my order is picked and it's definitely coming on Friday, but she said there was a possible chance of texts going out tonight and phones being delivered tomorrow, because they were showing in stock and available now when she was ordering another customers earlier in the day.

Take that with a pinch of salt though, I highly doubt anyone is getting theirs a day before launch. Can't imagine Apple would allow it, nor be happy if it did happen.

That’s why I said wouldn’t trust what EE say, because every different person you speak to in CS says something different each time.

Yeah, this morning I got two agents who said it was all first come first served and nada else.

I think it also depends on which iPhone 16 model you ordered for the EE tracker to show anything. Ideally, the 16 Pro Max 256GB in Desert Titanium is one of the most pre-ordered versions, if not the most popular. So, for those who ordered it, not everyone will receive it on launch day. Anyway, just a few hours left, and we can all start updating here when someone gets a DPD notification. Fingers crossed!

When I got a callback around 4/5 pm on Friday, I got told that it was the least ordered colourway from the day - which I found odd, and it was his first one of the day (iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB Desert Titanium) with most opting for Natural or Black. Doesn't make sense cause most people rush to order the new colourway

Last year I messaged on the Wednesday and was told my order was picked and it did arrive on launch day. I do think that sometimes when they say this it is genuine as they will be able to see on their system, but sometimes they just say what they know you want to hear to get you off the phone / chat.

Out of interest, I messaged through the app this morning and just got told the same “first come first served” thing.

I’m assuming they made enough pros or not updated the website as all colours and storage says expect delivery on launch day. Still debating on whether to change to the pro instead of pro max 🙈
