Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

To be fair, EE was much better this year. at least that was my experience lol. I waited an hour+ on the phone last year.
This year like literally 7-10 minutes max.
i got the Black titanium - 256 GB. I had 256 for the 15 and was plenty. I still got 120 GB left. So no need for 512 for me.
ordered at 13:10.

I placed my order yesterday at 13:09, I received an xko order number about 40 minutes or so. Today I was expecting the order to actually processed but it wasn’t, so I called 150 and got connected to the EE sales team, they then processed my preorder on the phone and I have now since received an order number starting with 004. I was thinking that I’d be pushed back in the line for the iPhone 16 Pro and have to wait a few weeks after release to get it, although the adviser said that I should be okay and only really worry about that if it was the Pro Max I was getting.
I hope everyone enjoys the phone once they receive it on the release day (hopefully)

I came from Vodafone around 3 years ago due to their consistent annual dealing of the pre-order system.
First year with EE was fine, second year slightly more stressful but all good.
Now this year. What is happening. Couldn’t upgrade online even though my upgrade was due. Couldnt’t get through on the phone.
live chat it was, managed to place my my order this morning, and signed via screen share as requested. I tried to add my NHS discount on at the time, but needed to reverify my NHS EE account, so the lovely advisor just told me that I could do that later.
Have just called to add on my NHS code and they were not able to find my order. Asked to check with a supervisor and they advised that the original agent has had issues processing the order and he will do it later and text me a confirmation number….
I then asked if that would mean I would get my phone later, they advised that it is first come first served, so my shipping would be delayed. no remorse.
I had kind of come to terms with the fact that I probably wouldn’t be getting in launch day, but it is almost definite now. Frustrating. Still no XKO or order number….

They were a nightmare with me adding my NHS code last year because I was told I could add it later. Ended up ringing over 6 months to get it added but this year they asked me to reverify (that’s fine) they added it on while placing the order.

Yeah, tell me about it. I don’t even know if I have a confirmed order yet. They are connecting me to a manager now. I’m not a rude guy, but things like this get frustrating.

There is an excel spreadsheet link to this thread that been created. It allows everyone (if they wish) to add the first 8 digits of their order, the device, colour and storage so everyone can see where they are roughly in the queue. It worked amazingly well last year when once orders started shipping. i would highly recommend you add your details to that spreadsheet as it will give you a rough indication of how long you may have to wait for delivery. I believe the the ‘Max’ are more popular so you should be fine and hopefully wont have a long wait.

Apparently (according to some on the other thread) Apple are more prepared this year with stock. So hopefully the waiting times are nothing compared to last year.
EE just can’t seem to manage the rush every year.

SNAP! Went for the same. I think I got my confirmation email around 2:30 after being on the call since 12:50. System issues beyond measure! Ill have to check where you are on the spreadsheet. Hopefully this year I’m not too far behind your delivery schedule! 😆
