So I recently bought an IPhone 15. I have a sim only plan but can’t seem to get 5G is this an issue?

@KingRagnar1988 , it looks like your SIM card needs replacing in order to get 5G, as it is too old. You can do one of two things, either ring customer service and ask for a replacement SIM card , but that takes anything from 2-4 working days depending on post or go to an EE high street store with a photo ID.

Hello @KingRagnar1988 ,
Welcome to the community,
How old is your SIM card? If you have had it for many years, then you would need a replacement SIM card, I had to do this four years ago when I got my IPhone 12 Pro Max.
Is it just in one place or everywhere?

So my SIM card is from when I got my iPhone XR.

@KingRagnar1988 , How old. Is it then? It looks like you may need a replacement SIM card. You can ring customer service and they should be able to let you know, or if near an EE high street store you can go there with photo ID.

Do you know any friends or relatives who use EE with a 5G phone? Or live near an EE store?
Try your existing SIM in one of their phones, for a real-world test of whether that's the issue.

@bristolian , it looks like his SIM card may not have 5G, as I had that and had to get a replacement SIM card, as it should work with the IPhone 15, as that definitely is 5G, that is why I wrote what I did.
