Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

You know you been working for apple for a long time. Do you know like you know the PM's 1TB is it like around 5% of the latest models every year or do you think its more because if it is like 5% why wouldn't they have enough of it. As always they use it send it out on launch I think for 14 PM or 13 PM I actually got it a day or few days before they copied Samsung.

anybody had a 02 tracking number change to a 03? I've had no changes since my order was re-processed on the 17th September and I can't track it via MyEE 😫

Just sent off the form with my order details. for context... ordered 18/09 via Twitter (512GB Black PM). as they were more helpful and I would have done it first thing on Saturday but they couldn't do the upgrade because my address was showing twice so they sorted it out on Twitter then helped me upgrade.

At the time I asked him for time frames, and he said "for the 256gb versions in all colours it is showing that the dispatch is expected to be more than 28 days if ordered today. Just as a comparison, the 512GB in Black/Blue/White are all expected within 28 days but NT is more than 28 days."

Without wanting to sound too pessimistic, we usually hear of the first DPD notifications before 5pm...

May be that there no dispatches today.

We need more people like you. I am stuck in this thread was mainly to track but lately I love to see how we are stuck to each other in difficult situations. There is someone like Schoeyy who did a great job and stay silent and kept improving the tracker. Really impressive with that kind of character.

I dont know the spefic percentage of production for release unfortauntly. That is seriously classified info i never had access too. But I would say based on the numbers I saw of Stock that would arrive to the stores a day or 2 prior to release for pre-orders nearer 10% were 1TB. The demand for the bigger storage has slowly crept up which is why this year its stagnated. the 13 PM & 14 PM biggest storage werent major sellers to end users. only resellers who would return if they couldnt sell it on aboard! (Another problen in the clog when it comes to iPhone release. Resellers make up 40% of sales in the first month by mass ordering stock online at 6am to resell. The stores have been advised from corporate - to allow this to happen. On occauisons my store would be full with resellers turning up tyo collect devices paying via gift card or credit card - whilst we have turn away genuine customers because the limited stock released in the morning is eaten by them). But that another story not worth getting into but definately plays into the drip feed Apple doing with iPhone releases over the last few years and the stagnation of avaialble handsets to end users. People like you and me!
