Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Hi, EE here. We're really sorry there is a short delay receiving your new iPhone from the manufacturer. There is no need to call us, your order is secure and as soon as we receive your new device we will get it to you as quickly as possible.

Also submitted complain… PM NT 256 ordered on 15 th at 7 pm over the phone…. Was told launch day then 14 days now within 28 days… the issue is I am off to Thailand for 3 weeks next Friday and no one will be home so I asked EE what will happen if the phone is undelivered and they told me that if it is returned back to them … the order will be automatically cancelled…. Now  I am not sure if that is true as that was on online chat so I will call them tomorrow and ask again.

But if it is true thats just bloody annoying … I will probably just get sim only plan and get the phone directly through APPLE instead hopefully delivered this year 😩 lol

Is there nobody that you could get to pop round to your house at the time of delivery? All you’d need to do is pass on the pin to the person and they can sign for it.  I’m on holiday for 3 weeks from 7th, so I know what you’re going through.

Unfortunately not haha 😄 The one friend which could do it is not available and the rest does not live close at all. 
TBH I am past caring … EE kind of ruined the whole excitement and the hype now…. I might as well wait … the 13 PM will do just well for few more months … What is annoying is that 3 of my friends ordered the 15 PRO MAX after I ordered mine on Apple website and all of them got theirs delivered today 😭 ( all were white pro maxes )

Has anyone missed their DPD order? What’s the next step, I am a teacher and am worried that on the hopeful day of delivery I might be at work?

I think they do 3 attempts and then return back to sender .

Yea this is true.

Im also going for holiday in october hence why i have pr ordered. When i went to the store and tell them my situation, all they got is “We can hold it for 14 days max in store and after that it will be returned” to which i asked if it will be cancelled and they said yes. I just laughed it off and left the store 😂

Knowing this i would have just skip all these trouble and just order one when im back

(Edit) I dont know much about home delivery but if you opt for a store pick up they will hold it for 14 days from the day the store received your phone
