Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Lack of training.. They've bought hundreds of extra staff in for OT yet there's no continuity across departments. It's a classic case of agents not being able to have the difficult conversation with customers. I also think incentive bonuses such as commission is at play too.. sign as many people up and get ££ extra on your payslip.

Complaint or not, they've told you incorrect information. The history on this forum also backs that up. Sorry to say.

Same here, spoke to CS on chat and he says you should manage your expectations, my order is "open" that's all that they can confirm. He said delivery will likely be after the launch day. I ordered on Friday as well!

I spoke with someone there. Was told it’s within 28 days. Even though I was told when I ordered last Friday I would have it tomorrow.

Called the upgrades team and was told my order is still in an 'Open' state. Ordered around 3pm on launch day, seems as though makes no difference!

Given that Apple started pushing back orders of the PM after half an hour last Friday, I wouldn't get hopes up.
