Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

The only downside is I got one of my Bandwerk cases already at home and another one due to arrive November 🫣

Why cancel the order?

If the tariff is the same data etc all you’re doing is waiting for it to arrive and then if you like it keeping it or returning within the 14 day cooling off period.

Well I’ve got 13 pro currently so I’m in no rush but I’m also not pleased EE is getting away with this, on Apple it says mid November for both 256 and 512gb NT, then kinda same time for the others.

If it was coming to us tomorrow we would of got a text or will get a text tonight but I don't see that happening sadly.

Agreed about CS, they told me that the when the failed delivery of the 15+ came back they would send it straight back out. However I was then told by another agent that they can’t now sell that phone as new. It’s now to be sold as “good as new” meaning I had to do a new upgrade and I was put to the back of the queue for the 15+. Now facing a further 21 days minimum for that phone.

Told that the 15PM NT 512gb should be delivered this week. I’m just glad I have a decent phone to use for now.

if you have ever worked in a business with inbound and outbound shipping in re sort of scale etc you can see what consignments are inbound on SAP or similar even if they are delayed and what stock of that shipment is allocated etc so not sure why they are not just being honest with us

Out of interest what tariff is everyone going onto? I’ve taken both the PM and 15+ on the full works plan and taken the insurance out with Apple care full cover. 

when you consider having EU roaming bolt on and Apple TV, music and cloud storage etc already and then undoubtedly taking Apple care through Apple them selves it’s actually not bad. We got 30% off the final price too because of all the services we have with EE

Full works - employer gets me a 20% discount which is always nice. 

Insurance is covered by my home contents.

Anyone ordered the White Pro Max heard anything yet? I’ve still only had the ‘Your Pre-Order is confirmed’ email and ‘Awaiting confirmation’ for expected delivery date. 

 

Ordered the 256GB model on 23/09/2023.
