Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I was told they have changed the free upgrade period will start after 10 months vs 12 months previously as this is the second year in a row they have had issues. So you’ll be able to upgrade without a fee next year

Day 31 since I ordered my 256 NT PM. And still waiting. So much for having my new phone within 28 days

Well that's nuts! What colour did you order? I ordered NT on the 21st and nothing.

Just had a call with support to get my order number and it was a 0257867XXX. Has anyone got a similar number? 15PM NT 256 ordered on 04/10

There is a spread sheet where you can add your order number model and date. look back over the last few pages to 539. People mark when they get their phone so you get an idea where you are in the queue.

Yeah I've got an 02 order number too. Same model/colour ordered on 20/09.

The 02 numbers can't be tracked on EE's website unlike the 03 numbers most people get, but a few people with 02's have received their orders so it's definitely gone through. No idea what the difference is and the CS advisor I spoke to couldn't tell me either, but I'm guessing it's something to do with if the device you ordered is on backorder.

Just on the phone with EE and they are checking what the hell is going on with my order as showing over 400 512GB NT in stock for 3 day turn over!!!!

Ok so yes they do have over 400 but said back order for first come since 14th when people before me are still waiting but I should get it this week if not worst next week as 400 now with EE just need to send out to people with orders before mine.. Mine was on the system 22ed so yer the wait is nearly over!

I'm hopeful a bunch of orders go out today. Checked Apple's website this morning and my local store has every colour and size option (except of 1TB black and white) available for same day collection. Yesterday the earliest collection was 14th of November so they definitely received a large shipment overnight.

I know that doesn't mean EE has more, but I'd assume the shipments arrive on the same cargo plane/ship from China/India/wherever Apple are manufacturing these days.
