Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Urgh. I just called to ask them if I could have the 03 number for my iPhone, I got one for the Ultra 2 and that tracks, as does the iPhone 15 plus order for my mum.
She said there isn't one, but that she can see it's showing as picked.
So, I'm not faffing about with it any more, if it comes, it comes, if not I have one from sky mobile coming anyway.

Well I placed my order at 1pm last Friday over the phone. Due to the technical issue, they called me back at 4.40pm so I could pay for delivery (everything else had been approved earlier). Got the 03 number straightaway. Phoned tonight as I had an iPad query and asked about my pre order. Not been picked and may be another week or so before receiving.

Anyone ordered the IPhone PM 256 White titanium my order was confirmed at 1:14pm after ordering online and calling to confirm with email confirmation… called them and asked live chat yet they won’t tell me if mines been picked all I’m getting is you will get a text off DPD when it gets dispatched… looks as tho this first come first served shtuff ain’t working out for me

Nearly every day I called to EE with asking about my order. Every day they told me “It will be delivered in Friday” but somehow my tracking still staying as confirmed 🤷♂️ I believe they tell you what you want to hear… I just don’t know what to think… I need just calm down and wait 🤦♂️ this all is sick. Next year I will do preorder at apple and all be sorted without any mess.

I didn't have any issues with them saying that their systems were down or anything, first of all I did my upgrade for the iPhone Pro Max 256 Natural Titanium, got the email at 1258 telling me to call them, I did and got through straight away, first bloke was hopeless, told me to call back later because I shouldn't have been able to do the order yet. I called straight back and got straight through again, they did the screen sharing with me and it was all approved. The documents I downloaded all have the time stamp of 1215, so I'm guessing that system is running on GMT rather than BST.
I then did the iPhone 15 Plus upgrade for my mum, again, had to call them, waited about 30 minutes this time, they took the rest of the details and once again the order was completed. About 1515 I got an email confirmation for this with the 03 number.
Same with the watch, I have an 03 number for that and the tracking works. I'm totally stumped as to why there's no 03 number for the iPhone upgrade. At a time when everyone else was being told the systems were down, they were putting my order through, maybe that's the reason I didn't get the 03, who can say?! Not EE that's for sure! All I have is the xko or an 02 number!
So, now it's time to wait, I don't have the patience to call them again, we'll just see what happens over the next few days 🙂

What does it mean if i have a 03 number, had to chase ee from Friday until Sunday before I could put my order through for a iPhone 15 pm in blue titanium

I'm the opposite I have an 03 phone reference number(that is still at order confirmed) but am missing a watch 03 number. Have 02's for both.
