Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I’ll let you know how I get on. I basically want to be able to cancel the monthly rolling contract with GG as soon as I can and then keep my EE airtime plan and existing phone no. I had to go for 512 too. More storage than I need but at least I’ll have the phone I want!

Oh I see what you’re doing. So get ya phone through giffgaff then just take up a sim only at ee when the phones here?

Yes that’s exactly what I’m hoping to do. There’s an option on GG to go for a monthly rolling contract which you can cancel anytime. Otherwise I don’t think I’d have been able to do it.

One thing I’ve learnt is these networks will ALWAYS let you upgrade, But never downgrade so I always get the smallest to start with
