Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I ordered on Sep 15 and got the EE confirmation email at 13:07 same day with an ‘xko’ order number. I enquired with EE live chat but they just provided another order number different from what was emailed to me. Not sure what’s going on?

Does it start with 003? The xko number is just a digital number.

I just called EE (got through in about 20 mins) after my app (now working) showing I have no orders. CS told me my device has been 'picked' so I should expect it on Friday. Ordered around 4.30 on Friday for anyone in a similar situation. Annual upgrade.

Here's my story. Ordered days before you, on pre order day 15th. Got a xko order number and a text straight away asking me to call as there was a problem with the order, tried calling but impossible to get through.
I just made another order. That went through it seems with a new xko number. I saw people on forums stating you had to call to accept the t&c's. I called in on the 17th, 2 days later, the rep Texed me a link to open the t&c's to accept. The link kept failing, it finally went through and I received a 003 order number.
The rep all of a sudden said they'd have to call me back as he could not finalize it. I thought you ain't gonna call me back, he reassured me he would so I hung up. Sigh! Immediately upon hanging up I saw the 003 order number made on 15th had been canceled! I was so p'd off! He called me back though and said order was finalized.
I complained about the 15th 003 order being canceled, will I lose my place in the I asked, no no he said, but now I have a 02 order number from the 17th, I'm not happy at all here. No info, no nothing lol
Called other reps who said yep my order from 15th is canceled and the one confirmed from the 17th is the only valid order, you will be at the back of the que. That rep I called to verify the t&c's messed me up and threw me to back of the que lol. Jokers

No it starts with 29. The order number I received from EE live chat however started with 0257

Wow what a run around. Did you also go for the same model? I’ve had 002 numbers before though if I remember correctly.

Just checked in live chat and been told that a 15 PM 512GB natural titanium has been picked for me. 🤘

That 02 number should be your tracking number. Check the tracking on it b

Thanks though EE doesn’t recognise that order number but I finally got through to them after a 38 min wait. They told me I’ll get my phone has been picked (15 Pro 256 GB) and I’ll get it on Friday. They added that I’ll get a tracking number from DPD on Friday before 11 to confirm a same day delivery slot.
