Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Make sure you have accepted the use of All Cookies as the button won't appear.
Also, make sure you're using a browser that doesn't auto-block cookies.
I use the Brave browser which auto-blocks cookies and the button would not appear, I had to use Chrome for it to work.

Both my partner and myself ordered the 256GB Pro Max in Natural Titanium.
She ordered at 12:55pm on the Friday and I ordered around 3pm.
Both of us received our 003 numbers after a call with EE, both are upgrades from 13 Pro Max.
No update on tracker apart from order confirmed. Hoping it arrives by sometime next week judging by the thread! Been onto live chat and the guy was very vague and just said the phone is released on the 22nd and orders will begin going out on the 23rd...

Ordered at 12:57PM Friday, early upgrade, no trade in, iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural Titanium. XKO number received instantly, checked multiple times (over the phone and live chat) that the order had gone through successfully, being as I know there has apparently been question around the XKO references, but each time I’ve been told the order is there in the system and went through fine.
Did a live chat for an update just now and was told that my device has been picked and should be with me on the 22nd.
Do I believe this? No. I will only believe it when I get the delightful ping from DPD - this is the only way we will know, before launch day (assuming the DPD notification comes Thursday like they usually do), whether we’ll get our phones on launch day.
Fingers crossed for everyone that you get yours as soon as possible 🤞

So I asked about my order and got this response:
There is order placed for iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Blue Titanium, the pre-order you placed on 15 Sep, it is still in open sale.
The launch date of the phone is 22nd Sep, so your order will get deliver on first come first serve basis so you might get the order within 2 working days after the launch date.
I then asked if there was an expected delivery date he they said:
We don't have any estimated delivery as far now. We will try to deliver the order to the customers on the launch date or within 2 days who pre-order it on 15 Sep.

@Equil … sorry to add more doom and gloom lol … but yeah your new contract start date goes down from when you receive the phone (or day before when everything kicks in) resulting in you possibly being out of sync with Apple launches if your new phone this year is delayed by 2 weeks/28 days.
As others have said … EE might waive any early upgrade fee (and that has happened for me once) but I don’t think they are obliged to do so.
From memory the early upgrade fee ranges from £200-£600 within first 6 months of your contract depending on what phone you have … dropping to £50-£300 … then £0 from 12 months.
Up until Friday (15th) my 14PM was £300 dropping to £0 on Friday itself (thankfully).

I put my upgrade through, got a “we need more info please call us” and was told I was the first person to get through…. Hope my phone comes for Friday 😂
my tracking page says “dispatch expected in 24 hours”

I skipped last years upgrade and I’ve done many iPhone upgrades with EW. As always EE are pretty shocking, Not just with phones but I still vividly remember the PS5 launch. I decided not to preorder on launch and only yesterday put an order in. Went through fine got my order no. 20 minutes after. I’ve just received a bunch of texts from EE about my contract and my app also isn’t working. Usually means all good for launch day. Don’t understand how such a massive company could have such a shockingly bad website.
Does Anyone know where I can find out when an add on contract is up? Can’t find it usually use the app.
