Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I did find a company online that leases phones and u can do month to month since I’m stuck with a subpar phone I got an iPhone XS Max coming tomorrow to hold me over for the next month.

I really thought there would be updates today. Not necessarily for me but at least some being notified

I just asked if they had any updates as I’m going on holiday next week and don’t want to miss delivery. I’ve also not heard anything since the ‘don’t call us’ message on the 21st so thought I’d ask. 

they basically said it’s a 28 day+ wait time at the moment starting from release day, but should be first come first serve. They couldn’t tell me if I’d get it any earlier and to basically look out for the DPD notification. 

I ordered a 512gb pm natural on the 16th September, so I’m not expecting it anytime soon, just hoping it doesn’t show up while I’m away 🤣

Yeah you’ll normally see bunches of people stating they have received a notification. Not today though. It’s crazy when you see the amount of people who have viewed this thread. The same thread last year had about 250 pages in total. We’re at 320 already!

I asked about my order and got this response:

CS from Billing team: We are expected to get the stock is a few days, so I would suggest you to give it 7-10 days more, it should be dispatched by then.

Me: Thank you, do you know if you’re getting stock in all colours and if it’s a certain amount or is it just a wait and see how much you get to see how many you can send out? Thanks🙂

CS from Billing team: The number of stock will depend on number of orders, so we will be sending out the order on first come first serve basis and you've ordered it on the first day when the pre booking started, so you'll get it sooner.

That would be so annoying if it comes the day after you go away🤣 can’t you maybe ask your neighbour to take it in and give them a 20 note for the kindness if so?👀🤣

But yeah like I say, I take it with a pinch of salt and don’t understand why they would be specific if they wasn’t expecting that. I guess to make people happy but in 7-10 days it’s only going to make everyone more angry if nothing happens!

Do you know which team you spoke to? Think some are more willing to help and maybe have more info than others potentially, again that’s speculation
