Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I place my order over the phone coz I couldn’t online they emailed that number and I can actually track the watch and the phone

Been such a nightmare iPhone pre order day for me. Attempted to order from 1pm and didn’t manage to get it confirmed until 17.30 🙄😬
So projected delivery date is 3 weeks but hopefully it’s worth the wait or its sooner

given so many system issues I can’t believe it’s not launch day delivery how’s all the stock gone if there were system issues oh well

My order number is an 003 number not xko

XKO numbers are usually given if you complete the order online and it wholy completes online. In my experience these are impossible to track as the EE tracker never recognises them meaning the next you will hear is the DPD ping hopefully on Thursday
003 numbers come if you have ordered on the phone or with live chat. These can be tracked

Yeah Thursday is when the worrying begins as we frantically check tracking (if you have a 003) and/or the DPD app

How soon after making an order over the phone should I have had a confirmation email?
Had my callback this morning to upgrade to a new phone, went through the documentation and paid the upfront fee over the phone with the chap, I had a text message soon after this saying my order had been confirmed but the link in the message doesn't let me track my order and I can't seem to pull out any valid order number from the link's URL..

Every year EE are a disaster - why do we put ourselves through this??
Called yesterday at 1258, security done by 1300.
Agent professionally handled the constant system non-responsiveness, glitches and slowness … sent over the e-docs … took payment for delivery (gone from my bank) … tentatively said it should arrive on launch day … text confirming order complete received before the call ended … told confirmation email will follow - then nothing.
24 hours later still no confirmation and it looks like everyone from EE has taken the day off - no one answering calls - no one replying on the socials!
I have no clue what stage my order is at and it is very frustrating. Is my order stuck somewhere like others are reporting?
EE seem to get caught with their pants down EVERY iPhone launch.
