Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I had a chat this morning with EE as I was told that iphone15 pro max would be delivered today and never received anything from DPD. They said that my phone will be delivered in 3 weeks as I fell short of the first batch. I pre ordered it at 1pm on the Friday the 15th so can’t see how I wasn’t in the first batch. But they said that the sales person didn’t put my order though till late Friday nite. So I’m going to forget about my order till I receive a message from DPD to say they have received my order. Hope you all get it sorted and have your phones soon.

It's not about having to wait 7 days, it's about honesty and honest people don't like to be messed around. If there were almost 50 in stock as my order went in, there should have been 1 allocated to me. If not then just tell me the truth and I'll not have to chase them around for info.

I hope you’re right but according to the experiences shared here I now think that the updates from EE and DPD don’t actually mean anything?

I think that probably when EE promised delivery today they meant it .
As it would be pretty stupid to promise something that they new wasn’t going to happen
It would just make them look bad and cause problems with people complaining etc.
I’m no expert but in my opinion I think they have just sent a lot less stock than they had anticipated or had been promised by apple for the launch .
So can’t meet the demand

Genuinely chuffed for you. This is the frustrating thing, I ordered the same phone at the same time but my confirmation was sent Friday evening at 6.30pm. Makes the first come first serve statement from EE complete BS!

This is fair and reasonable, I am going to do the same. Did you go thru Cs or did you raise a complaint by using the online form?

@ricardochoa I've honestly just given up. This whole experience is a put me off completely.
Then add the fact that EE are charging extortionate prices.
