Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Just got my DPD text:

15 PM NT 256GB - 0033071...

512 PM NT, was due to be 30th Oct-3rd Nov but got the DPD pin and notification! 

Never heard of this VIP delivery though. Does it just guarantee next day delivery?

When people have got DPD texts, have you sometimes had to wait a few days for delivery or always next day?

Yes it gives you priority cause they basically have to deliver next day between the chosen time slot. I just didn't want to take any risks lol I paid 5 quid for it.

Just for future reference - is this an option when DPD confirm your order?

Yeah I found it on the app under change your delivery, I've never used it before so I'll find out tomorrow just how good it is. But here's what the texted me after.

Still waiting on any communications from either EE or DPD, order number starting 0033153…

Has any else received their upgrade anytime returns pack? As soon as I pre-ordered it said it would be on its way but as of yet I still haven’t received anything…

I’ve done the same. Waited long enough and had the original £7.99 delivery refunded by EE so why not guarantee next day and pay £5 for the VIP

Normally next day when you get the pin.
