Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

The explanation totally makes sense and it all aligns with every year fiasco.
Quarterly finance update and also physical queue movement to online pre-order enabling them how to engineer the quarterly report.
The departments are working in coordination which we should be seeing at Trillions worth company.
Stakeholder first and customer last move is quite a cold-hearted move. That's cool of them. But not for me 😅

Big help for me! EE is not giving me any updates on my order. And are unable to tell when I’ll receive it . This spreadsheet is a useful indicator to see as and when the first listed start getting dispatch notifications a rough idea when mine should come through.
it’s way more info to hand than what EE is offering and it is a guide not extensive data. And therefore I believe everyone is taking it as such.

This is why they are a trillion dollar company! They won’t even pay retail staff performance related quarterly bonuses they pay managers who sit at the back!
Is what it is really. Just glad I’m no longer a part of that machine - a small wheel in the clog frontline supporting their profits margins whilst my mental health goes too sh*t!

Hi Anyone like me who ordered a 256gb NT Pro Max 15 - I was fairly early in the queue? Certainly before the cut off that moved 28 days. I just had a chat with CS see below thread where he said stock was coming in this week and would start to be sent out. No idea if this is legit or not. He said it will take a few more days. My order number is
0033080038. So he was hinting I would have it by Friday.

Ordered the same as you, order number 0033075*** confirmation came through at 21:38 on 15th. When did yours come through?

Just got off the phone to EE, asked about my preorder to see if there's been any update. I ordered the 15PM 256GB in Natural Titanium on the 16th September and got my email confirmation and 03 order number at 08:35, but I've had zero updates since and my tracking link still says its awaiting confirmation. The rep said it looks like I'll be waiting more than 28 days, which is annoying because now I've been told different things by everyone: it'll be less than 28 days, it'll be more than 28 days, you won't wait much longer because you were one of the first to place an order for it etc etc etc. I told him that it's now going into week 3 and I'd rather cancel than wait much longer, then he did a u-turn and said it'll probably be with you at some point this week... even though they don't actually know if this is true? I then said if I ring back in 20 minutes, I'll get told a different story by another agent and he literally told me "yeah to be honest with you they more than likely will"
what a joke - to say they're a communication company there's not much communicating going on

same, I ordered mine on the 16th at opening time, my order number is 0033079997. Just got off the phone with EE and the rep told me I'll be waiting more than 28 days though, so no idea what's going on

I think they have very vague information in regards to stock. They are not as directly involved as we think with warehouse unfortunately. There’s a whole different team there. The EE CS probs know as much as we know ngl.
They also get loads of calls for the same query and they just give you the SAFE answer so you don’t use it against them later. Or prob they were instructed to say this. That was how it was when i worked for another company. We had no clue of stock and had to look literally at a PDF that warehouse updated. So if they don’t update, we had no clue.
