I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Lucky! I haven’t received any notification. I downloaded the dpd app, put all my details and there’s no upcoming deliveries for me. It’s gutting, I phoned up today and EE changed their tune massively…I was told it could be 2 weeks now before I get my phone. EE live chat just told me it’s still an open sales order and it will most likely be dispatched tomorrow, but then they also said my local warehouse currently has it and it’s in the process of being picked…it’s definitely one of those situations where I’m hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

I just wanted to let you know that I truly feel for you... as the same thing happened to me during my last upgrade, and ALMOST happened to me again this year! So basically, I placed my order online, and I got a message that they were needing more details and that someone would be calling me back. Well of course, I didn't wait around, so first thing the next day when CS opened, I rang and spoke to someone from their sales team (big mistake) who tried telling me that they saw no order (even though I had a confirmation email and money was pending on my bank account). He was basically giving me some BS about how the 'system rejected my order due to fraud prevention, and graciously offered to 'clear it out' and put the order in himself. I basically called him out, told him that he was trying to get commission, and after making a fuss, he transferred me to the digital team, who basically just confirmed a few details, and then completed the order. Had I not raised a fuss, my online order would have been cancelled, and I would have been to the bottom of the queue. This SAME EXACT THING happened to me during my last upgrade...except I fell for it then, and ended up having my original order cancelled and then having to get my phone ONE MONTH LATE due to being dropped to the bottom of the queue.

I wouldn't rely on the EE tracking. My parcel showed up on the DPD app well before it was updated on EE's site. also, I wouldn't honestly rely on what the CS told you. I think you can safely say ur screwed ONLY IF you have checked the DPD app, and your parcel isn't there.

Well that makes me feel a bit better. I also ordered Saturday. Here’s to hoping we get a notification from dpd overnight 😩

12th September 13:00! 😬 Received only email with confirmation and XKO number. That's it. Tried to speak with cs over the phone and many times through chat. Nothing. Everyone one telling me “Just wait”. But they have already updated my tarrif and I am already “paying” for a new phone. 🤷♂️

Yeah same number that I have with EE. I just put my details into the app and it automatically came up with my parcels including some Nike deliveries that I ordered.
