I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Thanks for this as I originally ordered online at 13:00 and got the confirmation email but after seeing your post, I was like call EE and boom it did not go through. YOU SAVED ME!

No worries! I only pre-ordered over the phone around 4PM, and received my confirmation straight away. 

Would you mind checking what your expected delivery date shows? 

I was told I should get mine by Friday but it doesn’t give me a date yet.

Just called 150 and was given another tracking number, this time it worked!

Called customer services and they have advised it’s definitely places and I should get it next Friday.

Mine states awaiting confirmation but the advisor stated it will definitely be on Friday

I managed to bag one just after release at 13:00 and I went for the 256gb pro max in purple, paid the upfront fee of £30 got my confirmation email and everything,fast forward to 18:00 and I get another email saying to complete the upgrade we need more information from you,so I ring them up and I was told the earlier payment of £30 didn’t go thorough and I’ll need to pay it again but how would they know this when my banking app is now showing 2 payments pending for £30?

It might have been an issue with their payment system. Your bank authorised it but they won’t claim it.

Should bounce back into your account within 3 days if it’s the case.

Yeah I’ve spoken to the bank also and they have said that they may to not process one of the payments of £30 and the other will come back to me, if not and both payments leave my account then the bank will help in getting it back so I’ll just wait and see

I got myself the 256GB 14 Pro Max in deep Purple. Ordered on live chat and got a text confirmation instead of email
