I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I’ve gone for iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB - Gold.

Just phoned up to confirm my order and confirmed it’s all gone through. I was a bit concerned that there was no immediate charge for the early upgrade fee, but was told it would come out as a direct debit on my next bill.

Just spoke with CS, she said my order been confirmed. But I haven't received any emails. Only with one with XKO. But she said everything should be alright. 😬 Ordered exactly aat 13:00. But now its 14:56 and no emails, nothing 🤔

Which options did you go down when calling 150? I went to upgrades and they said they have no access to online orders and not sure which dept to contact

I called up to confirm and was told they aren't able to do anything to confirm my order so no idea where I sit paid the upgrade fee

I ordered via 150, no text or email except an EE 'thanks for upgrading'. The second guy agreed with me that maybe paying by credit card was delaying it, but told me it was defo confirmed. I think we should probably trust them!

I went to upgrades, and she checked my account. And said everything is okay. But haven't received anything. Paid £30 with Apple pay. But not sure if I can trust her 😂 Checked another operator, but don't want to move from EE.

Contracts due up in November but could upgrade free from 28th September, happy to do this but they wouldn't carry over my discounts I've had applied to my account for years. Never had a problem doing it before.

Decided to just register a new account and ordered the 14 Pro Max 128gb Space Black using my 15% Student Discount and £30 upfront.

Upgraded via the website but it wouldn’t allow my 20% discount code and it errored right at the end when it took my £100 upgrade fee. I rang them to add my discount manually but they couldn’t see my upgrade(I have got an email with the xko number).  They redid my order with my discount and said the £100 was going to be refunded back to me, while on the phone I received my 002 order number and should be all good for release day.

If you're still waiting, go onto account and billing help and access live chat. They'll put you through to upgrade/order team and they can send confirmation. I've just got my text message with the order number through. No tracking active though, which is not unexpected since it is pre-order.
