In case anyone else is still waiting for the Pro Max 256GB Space Black, I *finally* got my DPD notification this morning for delivery tomorrow.
Ordered on Sept 9th, with a correction made to the order on Sept 12th, so between a 32 and 35 day wait, which is unacceptable but at least it’s almost over!

Lol 28 days…. Day 35. No phone, no estimate of timeframe. Everyone I know has one, except me, all ordered after me. A few weeks ago ATLEAST I could say yeah, but I’ve got an Apple Watch Ultra… now I can’t even say that as guess what?! They’ve all got theirs now too. 😞

35 DAYS…. Pre ordered at pretty much 1pm on Pre Order Day. Knew I should have bought it outright when I was on Apple’s website. Last year, no issues with Watch or phone; delivery date was launch day and hey presto - no problems for a Sierra Blue 512GB iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was loving life after all the issues during Covid getting a iPhone from apple etc - nightmare.

via phone. The online website never works for me for some reason. Just says unavailable for plans but when I actually talk to someone they’re like yeah you can choose anything and everything. Poor website really. Lol. I actually called at 12.55, made the guy wait for a few mins on the phone and rambled on about a question about my account….which I knew the answer to, then did the old “oh, just one other thing” at 13.01. 😂😂😂

Phone is normally the fastest but if you didn’t actually start talking to them at 1301 you would have behind in the queue already. When did you get the confirmation emails?

@Hatton920 it was almost instantly after the guy said he’d put it through. So my email says 13.07 when I received the email, order confirmation and what I’d signed up to, paid £50 for the phone etc.
so I’m just a little miffed as to 7 mins surely that’s not warranting 35 days of waiting. Previously I’ve ordered days after launch and got the product in a quicker period. It just seems every year EE just fail to deliver. For whatever reason. They’re more expensive and they take FOREVER to deliver - most of the time. Lol.

It just annoys me I can go on to apple’s website now and it tells me everything I need to know and when to expect it. That’s all people need. Surely their deliveries aren’t so sporadic they have NO CLUE as to when they’re getting stock in. I worked for apple and theyre very very clear about their deliveries, times, dates and their business customers. So for EE to still not have any timeframe for my device - seems legit 🤔

When I rang I was on the phone to them for 55 mins. You completed your order within 6 minutes?
All networks fall to deliver at some point as there isn’t enough stock and unfortunately the phone you selected has either extremely low stock or was extremely popular.
apple can show more stock details as they are the suppliers.

Yeah I know about all the networks and supply and demand, I don’t doubt that.
what I’m saying is, it irks me that 6 friends who are on same or different networks have got theirs, after ordering theirs after me and yet I’m still here wondering where mine is.
I also understand apple is the supplier, but surely EE/o2/three whoever it is could also use that information because it is supplied to the networks to update customers to ATLEAST a timeframe date rather than it should be 28days and then you hit 35 days and they’re not even saying - we’ve had a delay etc.
if the supplier says 4-11 October for example, for all the iPhones to be delivered to the warehouse great. So why doesn’t EE put 7-14 October for delivery? Just a thought?!
also yeah, I was already on the phone to him, like I said. I wasn’t on hold, I didn’t ring at 13.01. I was on the phone from 12.35ish. They answered at around 12.50ish maybe a bit after. I asked about an account question, and then said I need to upgrade just after 1pm. He literally sped through it, as it was an annual upgrade, confirmed the phone/colour and plan, asked me about the old one, took the £50 payment from my card attached to the account… read out the T’s and C’s and it was done in literally 5 mins. Confirmation email came through for the first time ever and that was it. 🙂 easy or so I thought……
