I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Well I spoke to EE earlier and they tried to tell me the purple handsets were very popular this year and the wait time for ALL purple handsets is 28 days, obviously told a pack of lies as usual.

Got my DPD notification! Woohoo

Nothing in my EE tracking info nor have I got any texts from EE - Fingers crossed my 512 Space Black Pro Max should be with me tomorrow 🙂

tried numerous times to call and get stuck waiting for someone to answer for 35mins to be told it may be 28 days from order!

got verification code overnight to give to dpd when they arrive 

the package has been transported to a local ish hub so all looks good so far

no contact or email from EE no tariff change yet always thought it happened the day before the delivery

 

update 

already been assigned a delivery slot it should be hear no later than 11am

Originally ordered on the 9th at 1:08pm. Was then asked to call and confirm a few things on 12th September. App has been saying “expected delivery between 28-30” until I woke up this morning and it’s now saying “awaiting confirmation”. 

At this point, I am ready to cancel my contract with EE and source it from somewhere else. It’s really disheartening to see people who have orders after you, get their phone before you.

Mine has done the same! I ordered on the 13th with an estimated delivery date of the 28th-30th and now it’s changed to awaiting confirmation

its frustrating i know 

i assume its the spec of the phone you pre ordered

it looks like yesterday a large amount of space black 128gb and more pro max  was delivered to EE 

what did you order ?
