iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Preorder tracking thread

I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

What promise have they made? 

Making a Preorder with EE isn’t a guarantee you will receive the device on launch day. It does actually state that in the terms of the order.

they didn’t promise anything. They try to deliver it on the date they state, but they can never guarantee that. It may not be their fault.

Yes I realist that, and i didn’t recieve on launch day which is what I expected. But I have received a delivery date via SMS and I was just concerned why it hadn’t dispatched yet like several other people have also said

All depends on when you ordered, when it was processed as an order and what phone you ordered. They have limited amount of each type of storage and colour. I’ve just checked the phone I have now says it will dispatch normally in 1 day but a 14 pro max shows as 21 days. 

these aren’t made by EE they are made by apple who deal with the logistics.  Also bear in mind they have their own stores to stock as well as all other networks and that’s just the uk. The phone launched globally. I can’t even begin to comprehend the logistics involved in a global launch of a in demand phone.

But it is there fault as they couldn’t run a **bleep** up in a brewery

I ordered at 1-04 online on launch but they didn’t process it until the 11th what’s the point of pre ordering so put me to the back of the queue

in Hindsight i should of rang as it’s done n dusted there and then lesson learned,and they keep saying first come first served which was lies again they do the same every year they are the biggest network in the uk fgs

You have been on these forums for two years. You must be aware of issues at launch of an iPhone and the best way to order is over the phone as the order is processed there and then. Online orders hit a queue which need to be processed. My phone order was processed at 1340 and I got my phone and watch on Friday. And next year I will be doing the same.

You think it’s confined to EE? My mate pre ordered the pro max on the apple website and he’s having the same problems. If they can’t deliver how the hell do people expect third parties too. There’s also issues on other mobile provider forums.

I thought to myself Ee are a big company they have online ordering so can get it through quicker than waiting on the phone like I said hindsight wonderful thing lesson learned

I definitely agree! Apple’s delivery is now end of October

Same every year but go on at 6am tomorrow and you will have a great chance of picking one up instore
