Iphone 11 - unable to make calls out and cannot receive calls

I have an iPhone 11 - people call me but when I answer they cannot hear me and also when I call them they cannot hear me! If I call them on WhatsApp or they call me on WhatsApp it works! Any idea what I need to resolve this problem?
