Hi @CazMan27,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Do you see any error messages after entering the WiFi password?

I’m trying that again in a different location as it wouldn’t connect t my car WiFi yesterday so trying other networks later. We do have a WiFi booster and whilst that’s never caused any issues like this that was one of the other avenues to explore although I’m not seeing that as the likely issue when we have had many devices and changed devices under the same WiFi over the years and never had this issue before.

Id also recommend resetting your network settings, @CazMan27
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Do any of the tips in this Apple Support article help, @CazMan27? - If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network – Apple Support (UK)

I’ve tried all of those already - just tried linking to my work phone via hotspot and that didn’t work it just won’t connect at all - all other devices are linked to home WiFi and we have had no issues so it does seem to be an issue with the handset

I'd recommend contacting Technical Support on 150 as a next step, @CazMan27
They'll be happy to help. 🙂
