I trade in every year, I keep my phone in a Torro leather case so it should be in excellent condition. Last week I took it out and found a tiny little mark on the side, so when doing my upgrade over the weekend I told the agent about it, she said it would be a £500 fee as it was damaged!
I told her to cancel the order as that was outrageous! After thinking about it for a few hours, I did put my upgrade through, only told them the phones in excellent condition. It’s a 14 Pro 256gb so I’ve been thinking id not send it back , sell it on eBay and just pay the charge when it comes through.
I’ll definitely be trying Carphone Warehouse now.
