Satin Black’ Apple Watch ULTRA 2 - did you order one?

With all the chat around iPhone 16, Pro and Pro Max, I haven’t been able to find a thread for those who pre-ordered the ‘Satin Black’ Apple Watch ULTRA 2  So here is one! I was debating since the Apple Event on Monday if I should upgrade as I currently have the 1st Gen AWU and battery is still good (91%). Wasn’t expecting any updates this year for AWU since the 2 was released quite recently. However after seeing the Satin Black AWU2  it took me a few days to decide and I wasn’t  sure if EE would get the combo with the new style Milanese strap. It wasn't until Friday morning I was browsing and saw it and made an impulse purchase to upgrade! So glad I did. The more I see it the more I love it. And with EE coverage, I tend to rely on just the watch cellular to keep me updated with notifications when I am at work as my phone is locked away. No idea thou if I’ll get it for release day as tracking for new orders is only for handset devices so we’ll see.

Did any of you pre-order the ‘Satin Black’ Apple Watch ULTRA 2? If so what Apple Watch are you currently using (if any) and what made you go for this one?  As for me, i’m so excited for this watch. Cant wait! Love the  Watch ULTRA 👌🏾

That makes sense. The Milanese strap & Ocean band are both the most popular it seems hence massive delays in delivery. I only want the Milanese strap so gotta wait I guess!

If I’m completely honest, I don’t think anytime before 18th ish of October - comparing delivery dates with Apple online! I checked when I pre-order with EE, Apple site and it was around 4 weeks at that point! 

Hope I’m wrong and it’s sooner. Keep checking DPD app for a surprise but nada as yet!

Lolz, I have been doing the same thing.  Constantly checking the dates at the Apple Store.  This morning it was the first week of Nov then this afternoon it’s now mid October 😁

Haha. What we like!!! Ok so by all accounts delivery times seem to be dropping from launch day which is good. I’m hoping first week of October (which is very optimistic) so wel’ll see.

I’m pretty much the exact same as you guys. I ordered the watch and thought it was weird I didn’t hear anything for two days except my Xko number that I couldn’t track so I gave them a ring, the lady on the other side said that this must have been a glitch and re ordered it for me but to my old addresses so I had to also get that changed. From there I thought it was weird I have not heard anything since but I’m happy now I know it’s not just me waiting. Hopefully next week then guys? I’ll keep you all updated.

The ultra 2 black with milanese loop is available for pickup at the Birmingham Apple store tomorrow, decided to order this and will cancel my EE order 😁
